Wine Fundamentals is a practical wine course covering the essentials of wine to help you taste, choose and talk about wine with confidence. All in one compact evening.
An experiential course that combines tasting with the essential knowledge behind wine.
Covered in this course
Across 7 carefully chosen wines, you’ll learn:
- How to taste wine and recognise its key characteristics
- The language that helps you describe what’s in your glass
- What shapes flavour, from vineyard decisions to winemaking choices
- Practical, flexible approaches to food and wine pairing
- How everyday things like temperature and storage influence how a wine tastes
By the end of the course, you’ll:
- Feel more confident choosing/ ordering wine, exploring new grapes & regions
- Be more articulate describing what you like (and why)
- Be better equipped to host tastings, dinners, or choose wines for a group
