Located in the village of Vernou-sur-Brenne in Vouvray is the boutique winery Damien Pinon. Damien is a third-generation winemaker of this family-run business, which he runs together with his wife Ingrid. Vouvray is synonymous with Chenin Blanc, where climate and terroir play a crucial role in shaping the various expressions of this grape variety, from dry to sweet.

Damien specializes in the art of Chenin Blanc winemaking and offers a wide range of still and sparkling wines. What makes Damien's creations so exceptional is the terroir from which they spring—the coveted tuffeau soil of the Loire Valley. This chalky soil, known for the construction of the châteaux in the region, is considered the soil where the world's finest Chenin Blancs thrive.

Damon Pinon's flagship wine is Tuffo, a dry, still wine affectionately named after the Tuffeau (tuffeau) that surrounds the winery's cellar. Tuffo is a perfectly balanced wine that complements almost any dish. The sweeter Les Perruches is a delicious dessert wine that combines the essence of fresh and candied fruits. Both wines have exceptional aging potential.

For sparkling wine lovers, Damien Pinon offers a wide selection. From the dry refinement of Le Brut to the sweeter temptations of Le Demi Sec and the longer-aged Chapitre XV, there's the right sparkling wine for every palate.
