Tenuta Lenzini produces delicious modern biodynamic wines on the picturesque Tuscan coast. "Vermignon" is an inspiring name for this wine, as it is made from two grapes: Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc. This delicious, medium-bodied, straw-yellow white wine reveals an aromatic bouquet of citrus, peach, floral notes, and herbs. These aromas continue on the refreshing palate, culminating in a subtle, saline finish. The biodynamic vineyard for the Vermignon is located at an altitude of 90 meters in Gragnano, in the foothills of Lucca, on sandy, silica-rich soils. The grapes were harvested by hand, pressed, and macerated for 24 hours before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was aged on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks for several months and then bottled. This wine is neither fined nor filtered.
