The small plot for this wine is actually located right next to Chateauneuf du Pape, although it can't be labeled or classified as such. Consider it a bargain! The wine is a gorgeous ruby red and reveals a bouquet of delicious red fruits and spices. Full-bodied and balanced with rounded tannins. The grapes are harvested from 70-year-old vines, with each grape variety being destemmed and fermented separately before blending. Aging takes place for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. Decant at room temperature 30 minutes before serving. Pairs well with all types of meat and roasted vegetables.
