The Reserva is Valenciso's flagship wine, exuding character, elegance, and a harmonious balance of fruit and subtle oak. This wine offers an expressive bouquet of cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and plums, subtly infused with spice, earth, and leather. On the palate, it delights with smooth tannins that culminate in a satisfying, lingering finish. The grapes were hand-harvested from several different plots in Rioja Alta, from low-yielding vines planted on clay-limestone soils. In the winery, only the finest grapes were selected and fermented in concrete vats. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by a further 12 months in concrete. After aging, the wine was bottled and left to settle and stabilize naturally. This wine is neither fined nor filtered. Aging potential: Drink now or age until 2030.
