The Barolo DOCG "Ciabot Tanasio" offers excellent value and comes from cru plots, ready to be enjoyed now or stored for the future. This wine has a bright ruby red color and unfolds an intense aroma of red fruits, blended with subtle notes of leather, spices, plums, licorice, and cocoa. On the palate, it dances with lively fruit flavors supported by robust tannins, bracing acidity, and a long, lingering finish. The organically farmed vineyards for the Barolo DOCG "Ciabot Tanasio" (Valentino, Piantà, and Pernanno) are located in Castiglione Falletto on clay soil. The grapes were harvested by hand and come from vines between 10 and 60 years old. In the winery, the grapes were fermented and macerated in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in large oak barrels for at least 24 months. The wine was bottled without filtration.
