Cinino Rosé IGT Umbria 2022 Pét-Nat 75cl
Cinino Rosé, meaning "little one," is a rosé Pet-Nat handcrafted from Sangiovese (95%) and Malvasia Nero (5%) grapes. This sparkling rosé, bathed in a beautiful copper hue, is a great entry-level wine for those interested in low-intervention wines. It reveals a bright bouquet of raspberries, tart cherries, and zesty citrus notes that lingers beautifully on the palate, culminating in a soft and invigorating finish. A bottle that disappears too quickly! The organically farmed vineyard for Cinino is located at an altitude of 300 meters in Todi, Umbria, on limestone and clay soils. The grapes were hand-harvested, selected, and gently pressed to ensure skin contact before spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After 40 days of gradually lowering the temperature, fermentation was stopped, the wine was bottled by hand, and fermentation continued in the bottle, producing delicate bubbles. After settling and stabilizing, the wine was disgorged. This wine is neither fined nor filtered.
