Daniel Ramos' wines exemplify the art of winemaking, which produces exceptional Grenache wines from high altitudes in the Sierra de Gredos mountain region. El Berrakin has a beautiful ruby red color and unfolds an aromatic bouquet of pure fruit—red and darker cherries, raspberries, strawberries, a hint of plum—accompanied by a touch of floral and vegetal notes. This continues on the palate, which is balanced with high acidity and smooth tannins, making it a very drinkable red wine. The grapes were harvested by hand from various plots with vines over 60 years old. In the winery, the grapes from the various plots were destemmed, macerated, and fermented separately with indigenous yeasts. After several months of aging on the fine lees, the wine was racked, blended, and malolactic fermented before bottling. Pairing: Versatile. Pairs well with meat, poultry, pizza, pasta, cheese, and cured meats.
