Gizziello IGP Frusinate 2022 Pét-Nat 75cl
Gizziello is a tribute to the famous Italian soprano and opera singer Gioacchino Conti, also known by his nickname "Gizziello." This is a fun, expressive rosé Petit-Nat made from the native Lecinaro grape. It has a delicate, light pink color with floral and citrus aromas that translate seamlessly to the palate, accompanied by lively acidity and a playful effervescence. The plot for Gizziello is located in the vineyards of Arce, Lazio, on limestone and clay soils. The grapes were hand-harvested, selected, and brought to the winery for spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. This sparkling wine was produced according to the traditional method, so fermentation was completed in the bottle. After bottling, the wine rested for 6 months. This wine is neither fined nor filtered. Goes well with: as an aperitif with salty snacks, cheese and cold cuts, and seafood.
