A delicious dessert wine. Golden yellow, with aromas of fresh pears and peaches on the nose and candied fruit on the palate. A delight for the palate. The grapes come from vineyards with the famous tuff (limestone) soil, which is reputed to produce the finest Chenin Blanc. Fermentation was slow with indigenous yeasts. The lees were gently stirred before bottling. This wine is very versatile. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with a gourmet dessert, or with blue cheese. It can be enjoyed immediately or aged for up to 30 years. Serve well chilled.
