Los Arroyuelos is a striking and delicate wine, full of freshness, with tremendous complexity and rounded tannins. It is a delicate Grenache characterized by red fruits, citrus notes, and herbs that expand on the palate into a long finish. This wine embodies the essence of high-altitude Grenache in the Alto Alberche Valley subregion and has forever changed the way we think about and experience the Grenache grape. The grapes were hand-harvested from 25 different plots with vines averaging 70 years old on granitic sandy soils. Each plot was vinified separately and aged for 7 months in various sizes of French oak barrels and in stainless steel. This wine is unfiltered and uses indigenous yeasts for fermentation. Pairing: Very versatile. Pairs well with meat, poultry, roasted vegetables, and tomato-based dishes. Serving: Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Aging potential: Drink now or age until 2028.
