Zerberos Stuck in da Mud DO Cebreros 2020 75cl
Stuck in Da Mud is an expressive wine that is both complex and elegant. It embodies a minimalist approach characterized by tension and grace. Sourced from a single vineyard, it reveals red and black fruits accompanied by floral notes, spices, and a subtle hint of cedar. A well-structured palate leads to a lingering finish that underlines its elegant character. The grapes were hand-harvested from the south-facing El Valle vineyard, planted on granitic sandy soils with a slate layer in the subsoil. The vines are over 100 years old and grow at an altitude of up to 1100 m. In the winery, the grapes were sorted, destemmed, pressed, and macerated on the skins for 50 days. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine was aged for 9 months in 300-liter French oak barrels. This wine is neither fined nor filtered. Pairing: Versatile. Pairs well with meat, poultry, pizza, pasta, cheese, and charcuterie. Aging potential: Drink now or age until 2028.
