The Panorámico Caracuesta is a rich and complex wine made from 86-year-old Grenache vines. Its beautiful ruby red color results in an intense bouquet of red fruits, anise, and herbal accents. On the palate, it delights with refreshingly juicy and persistent aromas. This vineyard is located on the southern border of the Rioja DOC, on the banks of the Iregua River and at the foothills of the Islallana. Here, in the historic "Caracuesta" plot, Grenache vines were planted in 1930, giving this wine a unique sense of place. The grapes were harvested by hand, partially destemmed, and spontaneously fermented for 17 days, remaining in vats for one year. It was then aged in French oak barrels before bottling. Aging Potential: Drink now or allow to age until 2027.
