Sophie Germanier is a pioneering winemaker who combines Swiss precision with South African terroir. After moving from Switzerland to South Africa in 2014, Sophie took over the family business and launched her own label in 2020 – driven by a clear vision: to demonstrate that outstanding wine and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Her wines are certified organic in Europe and the US, are produced with minimal intervention, and carry the WIETA seal for fair labor practices. Sophie is also committed to biodiversity, including through her partnership with Honeybee Heroes, and all her wines are certified vegan.

The grapes come from a variety of organic vineyards—from coastal sites cooled by sea breezes to dry-farmed soils in the Swartland. Sophie captures the full diversity of South African landscapes. Each bottle reflects her belief that healthy soils, fair practices, and respect for nature are the foundation for wines of true quality.
