At Lagar de Pedregales in Rías Baixas, winemaker Alba Martínez brings a thoughtful, minimal-intervention approach to the Albariño vineyards her family has tended for generations.
Envero shows what a little extra time and patience can do for Albariño. Smooth, rounded and complex, it layers fresh lemon with ripe melon and nectarine, with a lovely texture that gives the wine real depth while retaining its freshness.
Hand harvested from 40-year-old vines beside the Miño River, Envero spends 18 months on its lees, building richness, texture and complexity. Just 1,333 bottles were produced, making this a small-production Albariño that offers something a little more special.
