Terre de Quarante is a full-bodied red wine made from Syrah and Grenache grapes with some oak aging. The wine presents a rich, deep red color and exudes seductive aromas of black currants and blueberries on the nose, subtly complemented by notes of pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla. On the palate, it displays a beautiful balance of freshness, power, and velvety tannins, culminating in a long and silky finish. The organically farmed vineyard for Terre de Quarante is located in Le Soler on calcareous clay soil with river pebbles. The grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed, and then the Syrah and Grenache grapes were fermented separately in temperature-controlled vats. The wine was aged in oak barrels for 12 months, filtered, and then bottled.
