10 Años Despusés (10 years later) exudes elegance and sophistication and is an exceptionally special, limited edition wine from Valenciso. Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, the wine was bottled 10 years after harvest. This wine offers a delicately balanced nose of cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and plums, with hints of spice, earth, and leather; while on the palate, it delights with fresh fruit, hints of tobacco, supple tannins and a lengthy finish.
The grapes were hand harvested from multiple different parcels within Rioja Alta, of low yielding vines on clay-limestone soil. Once at the winery, only the best grapes were selected and fermented in concrete vats, where the wine rested and aged for 4 years. Following this, the wine was transferred and aged in French oak for approximately 4 years. After aging, the wine was bottled and settled for natural sedimentation and stabilisation. This wine is not fined, nor filtered.
