In the heart of Piedmont, Luigi Giordano proudly carries a storied winemaking legacy that has flourished over 90 remarkable years. The journey commenced in the 1930s when Giovanni Giordano took a bold leap into cultivating and selling grapes. In 1958, Giovanni's son, Luigi, made a courageous decision to vinify and bottle his own grapes. This was a pioneering step during that era and played a pivotal role in shaping the Barbaresco we know today, paving the way for others to follow.

Today, Luigi Giordano is led by Luigi’s daughter, Laura, and her son, Matteo. Matteo is the oenologist, bringing a fresh perspective and a meticulous approach to his winemaking. The result is a collection of timeless wines that embody the highest quality while authentically expressing the essence of the land and fruit. And all of this goodness is in finite supply, by the way. 

With vineyards spanning seven hectares, including prestigious crus like Asili and Montestefano, Luigi Giordano offers a range from everyday classic gems, like Dolcetto, Barbera and Freisa to more complex and prestigious Nebbiolos and Barbarescos.

A less common creation is the Nebbiolo Brut Nature traditional method sparkling, crafted in limited quantities. It’s not everyday we get to experience a sparkling wine made from Nebbiolo . Conceived during Matteo's university thesis, it’s truly a delight and a unique experience.
