Situated in the village of Vernou-sur-Brenne, Vouvray,  lies the boutique winery, Damien Pinon. Damien is the third-generation winemaker of this family estate that he manages with his wife, Ingrid. Vouvray is synonymous with Chenin Blanc to which climate and terroir plays a pivotal role in shaping the diverse expressions of this grape, from dry to sweet.

Specialised in the art of Chenin Blanc winemaking, Damien offers a diverse range of still and sparkling wines. What makes Damien’s creations so extraordinary is the terroir they spring from—the coveted Tuffeau soil of the Loire Valley. This chalky limestone, renowned for its contribution to the castles that dot the landscape, is considered the soil that creates the best Chenin Blancs in the world.  

Damon Pinon’s flagship wine is Tuffo, a dry, still wine affectionately named after the Tuffeau that encloses the vineyard cellar. Tuffo is a perfectly balanced wine that will go with almost any food.  On the sweeter side, Les Perruches is a delightful dessert wine, harmonising the essence of both fresh and candied fruits. Both of these wines possess exceptional aging potential.

For lovers of sparkling wines, Damien Pinon offers an array of choices. From the dry sophistication of Le Brut to the sweeter allure of Le Demi Sec and the longer-aged Chapitre XV, there's a bubbly for every palate. And for those seeking casual, refreshing enjoyment, there's the Pet Nat - Fines en Bulles. 

Not just remarkable wines, Damien is committed sustainable and environmentally conscious winemaking. Already practicing organic farming, certification is in progress.
