Parcelle 168 is a Swiss craft winery located in Bugnaux, La Côte, dedicated to making tiny quantities of biodynamic wines
Altå is a contemporary take on Chasselas from the broader La Côte region. With a pale golden hue, it reveals a bouquet of grapefruit and lime blossom, complemented by delicate white flowers and a subtle hint of fresh pineapple. On the palate, the flavours evolve gracefully with hints of stone fruits, balanced by refreshing acidity and a subtly creamy texture
The Mont-sur-Rolle vineyard for Altå is located at 400-600 metres altitude overlooking Lake Geneva . The grapes were hand harvested, then directly pressed in whole bunches with 24 hours of settling. The grapes were fermented in barrels using indigenous yeasts, then aged on fine lees. The wine was aged for 8 months before bottling. This wine unfiltered.
