Luigi Giordano is a pioneering family winery crafting timeless classics from the heart of Barbaresco, Piedmont.

Barbera d’Alba is fresh and juicy, making it an approachable, effortlessly enjoyable choice for easy sipping. This wine is a rich ruby purple shade, entwining flavours of plums and blackberries, with the slightest dash of black pepper. The palate comes alive with a vibrant dance of fruit and refreshing acidity, culminating in a lengthy, satisfying finish.

Barbera d’Alba is sourced from a vineyard in the sub-zone of Barbaresco, called ’Buschet’, meaning ‘little woods’ and referring to an iconic area of Barbaresco for winemakers of Barbera and Dolcetto.  The grapes were harvested from 50 year old vines.  Once at the winery, the grapes were destemmed and fermented, including 10-15 days on their skin. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for 6 months in cement steel tanks before bottling.
