Bossanova crafts modern expressions of indigenous Abruzzo grapes. Their biodynamic farming, minimal intervention approach yields wines bursting with unique character and personality.
Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is an aromatic rosé wine, expressing red fruit and floral notes, complemented by subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, it’s refreshing with a delicate hint of savoury salinity.
The Corropoli vineyard for Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is located at 230 metres altitude on clay soil. The vines are 40-50 years old. The grapes were hand harvested and spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 8 months in concrete, followed by bottling.
