Agri Segretum crafts small-batch, terroir expressive wines from Umbria, specialising in indigenous grapes with minimal intervention.

Cinino, meaning ‘little one’ is a rosé Pet-Nat, hand crafted from the Sangiovese (95%) and Malvasia Nero (5%) grapes. This sparkling rosé is dressed in a gorgeous copper shade and is a great entry wine for those curious about low intervention wines. It unveils a bright bouquet of raspberries, tart cherries and zesty citrus notes, beautifully carried to the palate, culminating in a smooth and invigorating finish. This is a bottle that simply vanishes too quickly!

The organically farmed vineyard for Cinino is located at 300 metres altitude in Todi, Umbria on limestone and clay soils. The grapes were hand harvested, selected, and gently pressed for skin contact before being spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks. After 40 days of slowly lowering the temperature, fermentation was halted, the wine was bottled by hand, and fermentation continued in the bottle producing delicate bubbles. After settling and stabilising, the wine was disgorged. This wine is not fined, nor filtered.
