Viticola Sileo is a visionary project that beautifully encapsulates the terroir of ancient high-elevation vineyards, showcasing an array of diverse soil types found in the Montsant region.
Costers de Cordunella is an enticing blend of Grenache and Carignan. It delights with a fusion of red fruit aromas against a subtle backdrop of spices. It’s remarkably balanced, boasting fresh acidity and structured tannins, gracefully guiding you to a lingering finish.
The organically farmed plots for this wine are located between 500 - 700 metres in altitude around the town of Cornudella de Montsant. The grapes were hand harvested from vines aged 20 - 85 years old, planted on calcareous soils with clay and slate. Once at the winery, the grapes were hand selected and fermented in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 12 months in 500L French oak barrels and terracotta amphoras.
