Agri Segretum crafts small-batch, terroir expressive wines from Umbria, specialising in indigenous grapes with minimal intervention.

Cru HTH stands as a truly distinctive and patiently crafted wine, having been delicately nurtured and aged for a remarkable seven years. Made from 100% Sagrantino grapes, this wine exhibits a deep dark ruby colour and is bold and brooding on the nose. It unveils enticing black fruit aromas, harmoniously complemented by earthy undertones that gracefully transition to the palate. It's beautifully balanced by chewy tannins, lively acidity and a wonderfully enduring finish with delicious black fruit flavours.

The organically farmed vineyard for Cru HTH is located at 300 metres altitude in Todi, Umbria on limestone and clay soils. Only the best fruit from a single hectare of 100% Sagrantino was hand selected for this wine.  The grapes were spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 2 years in French oak barrels, followed by bottling and a further 4-5 years of aging in the bottle. This wine is not fined, nor filtered.
