Tenuta Lenzini crafts deliciously modern biodynamic wines along the picturesque Tuscan coastline.
Lenzini Franco is a tribute to the Grandfather of Benedetta (one of Tenuta Lenzini’s owners). This is a delicious red wine, brimming with delicate fruit that is mingled with spices, subtle earthy undertones, and embraced by velvety tannins
The biodynamic vineyard for Lenzini Franco is located at 90 metres altitude in the foothills of Lucca, Gragnano, on soils rich in red clay. The grapes were hand harvested and spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in wooden vats. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and stoneware, followed by bottling. This wine is not fined, nor filtered.
