Marta Maté is a modern success story, crafting outstanding small-batch wines with a minimalist approach. Amidst a region of over 300 wineries predominantly reliant on machine harvesting (85%), Marta Maté chose to stand apart. Their project embraced three core principles: Prime Location, Biodiversity, and Minimal Intervention.

Los Perejiles is an exquisite wine. This wine is a beautiful ruby shade, unveiling aromas of red fruits, violets with sprinkles of clove and cinnamon. The palate offers a velvety texture alongside lively acidity, culminating in a lingering, delightful finish.

The grapes were hand harvested from a single vineyard in Tubilla del Lago at 915 metres of altitude. This vineyard possesses particularly favourable soils with limestone bedrock and a mixture of clay and sand.  Once at the winery, only the best grapes were selected and fermented using indigenous yeasts in open 600L barrels. The wine was then aged for 18 months in 500L French oak barrels.
