‘Cuvee des Acoins’ is elegant and complex. It unveils citrus fruits, white peach, pear and a touch of mineral (flint) notes. It has a delightfully long finish.
The grapes were sourced from old vines on Kimmeridgian marls soil (clay limestone), then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Bottling was after 3 to 4 months of resting on lees. Although it can be aged for up to 10 years, it’s pretty irresistible and a delicious drop as it is.
Best served chilled. This wine is versatile, harmonising beautifully with a wide range of cuisines. It complements seafood, white meats, cheese, Asian dishes, and even spicy foods flawlessly. Moreover, it shines as a delightful aperitif, making it a true crowd-pleaser.
