Bossanova crafts modern expressions of indigenous Abruzzo grapes. Their biodynamoc farming, minimal intervention approach yields wines bursting with unique character and personality.
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is dry white wine, revealing a unique bouquet of yellow fruits mixed with hay, herbs and chamomile. On the palate, it unfolds with an initial burst of tart freshness, evolving into a finish graced by subtle honeyed notes.
The vineyard for Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is located at 230 metres altitude in Controguerra on clay soil. The vines are 40-50 years old. The grapes were hand harvested and spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 9 months in concrete, followed by bottling.
