This is an elegant & complex Viognier from Swartland, South Africa.
Delicate and welcoming on the nose - Lemon, peach, petal, honey suckle, all of which extend to the palate. The complex flavours of this wine are matched by its beautiful, silky texture. An absolute pleasure to drink.
The grapes were hand harvested from the dry-farmed Kasteelsig vineyard in Swartland. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
