Château Nadal Hainaut is a modern, innovative family winery led by 3 sisters adding their personal touch to outstanding Roussillon wines.

Carignan Sauvage is a unique old vine Carignan wine. This wine is an intense crimson colour, unveiling an aromatic bouquet of red stone fruit with touches of floral notes after some aeration. On the palate, it’s delicate and expressive, expressing the complexity of the subsoil and the great age of the vines.

The organically farmed vineyard for Carignan Sauvage is located in Le Soler, on chalky clay soil with river pebbles.  The grapes were hand harvested, spontaneously fermented and macerated for 3 weeks. The wine was aged for a number of months in stainless steel before bottling. This wine has no added sulfites.

Food Pairing: meat dishes, poultry, pizza, pasta, cheese and cured meats. Given its freshness and lightness, also pairs with fish.

Serve:  Decant 30 minutes before serving. Serve at room temperature

Aging potential: Drink now or this wine has the potential to age up until 2030
