Tenuta Lenzini crafts deliciously modern biodynamic wines along the picturesque Tuscan coastline.
Casa e Chiesa, a 100% Merlot dry red wine, graces the glass with its deep ruby hue, unveiling a bouquet of red cherries, blackberries, subtle plum notes, and a touch of earthiness. On the palate, it continues, balancing supple tannins and invigorating acidity.
The biodynamic vineyard for Casa e Chiesa is located at 90 metres altitude in the foothills of Lucca, Gragnano, on sandy and clay soils. The grapes were hand harvested and spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 16 months in concrete tanks, followed by bottling. This wine is not fined, nor filtered.
